Common Questions

About Our Courses

Do I need previous experience to attend your workshops?

No previous experience is necessary for most of our workshops. We clearly indicate the skill level for each course (beginner, intermediate, advanced), and our beginner courses assume no prior knowledge. Our instructors will guide you through every step of the process, from selecting flowers to finishing techniques.

What do I need to bring to a workshop?

All materials are provided, including flowers, foliage, containers, and tools. Just bring yourself and perhaps an apron if you wish to protect your clothing. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. For longer workshops, you might want to bring a bottle of water and a snack, although refreshments are provided.

How many people are in each class?

We believe in providing personalized attention, so our workshops are limited to a maximum of 8 participants. This ensures that everyone receives guidance and support throughout the class. For private bookings, we can accommodate groups of up to 12 people.

Do I take my floral arrangement home with me?

Yes, all arrangements created during our workshops are yours to take home. We provide appropriate packaging to help transport your creations safely. We recommend bringing your own carrier bag for additional security, especially for larger arrangements.

Booking & Payment

How do I book a course?

Bookings can be made through our contact page, by phone, or by email. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. For private group bookings, a 50% deposit is required, with the balance due 14 days before the event.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, bank transfers, and cash for in-person bookings. All online payments are processed securely. For corporate bookings, we can arrange invoice payment upon request.

What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop date, we offer a full refund or the option to reschedule. Cancellations within 7-14 days receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations less than 7 days before the event, but we can help you transfer your booking to another person or date where possible.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we offer gift vouchers for all our workshops. These make perfect presents for flower lovers and can be purchased for specific courses or as value vouchers. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and come beautifully presented in a gift envelope.

Practical Information

Where is your studio located?

Our studio is located at 571A Rosebank Road, Avondale, Auckland 1026. We have limited parking available on site, and there is also street parking nearby. The studio is accessible by public transport, with bus stops within a short walking distance.

Is the studio accessible for people with mobility issues?

Our studio is located on the ground floor with step-free access. The workspace, bathroom facilities, and entrances are all wheelchair accessible. If you have specific requirements, please let us know when booking, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Are refreshments provided during workshops?

Yes, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, water, and light refreshments during all our workshops. For full-day courses, a light lunch is included. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies when booking.

Can I book a private event or corporate workshop?

Absolutely! We offer bespoke workshops for private groups, corporate events, team building, hen parties, and special celebrations. These can be held at our studio or at your chosen venue (subject to suitability). Contact us to discuss your requirements and receive a tailored quote.
